Oderker Ranked Nationally in ITA Rankings; Veroux Joins in Regional Rankings
TEMPE, AZ – Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis had two of their athletes ranked on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional and National rankings that were released on November 12.
The rankings saw
Anouk Oderkerk be placed at 38th in the nation in Division II tennis. She is also currently ranked 4th in the East Region. Oderkerk ended the fall season 12-2 with a 10-0 conference record in singles competition. All her matches were played in the first position. Oderkerk was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Year and was named on the All-CACC First Team squad.
Alycia Veroux joins her teammate in the regional rankings, placed at 12th in the East Region. She went 8-2 on the season and 6-1 in conference play, with every match being in the second spot. Veroux was named CACC Co-Player of the Year and secured her second straight All-CACC First Team honors.
Oderkerk and Veroux secured their final regional rankings together as they were ranked fifth in the Doubles East Region rankings. They both played 10 matches together, going 8-2 as a team overall and 6-1 in CACC action. They played all their matches together in the first position. Alycia Veroux is 10-2.
