Chelsea Allie Named Inaugural Director of Strength & Conditioning at Jefferson

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Thomas Jefferson University announces the appointment of Chelsea Allie as the institution's first-ever Director of Strength & Conditioning, a newly created position that reflects Jefferson's strategic commitment to enhancing the student-athlete experience through performance, wellness, and academic integration.

This role looks to strengthen support for Jefferson's student-athletes and be integrated between the university's Athletics Department and its nationally recognized Exercise Science program.

"Creating this position was a key part of our strategic plan to elevate the student-athlete experience at Jefferson," said Corey Goff, Assistant Vice President for Athletics. "We conducted a highly competitive national search, and from our very first conversation, Chelsea stood out. Her passion, energy, and vision for holistic athlete development made it clear she was the right person at the right time for Jefferson. We're thrilled to welcome her and excited for the impact she will have on our programs and our students."

Allie joins Jefferson from Holy Family University, where she served as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach, leading performance programs for multiple sports including women's lacrosse, soccer, cross country, and flag football. She also brings experience from East Stroudsburg University and Penn State, where she contributed to performance nutrition, applied health science, and athlete psychology initiatives.

"I'm incredibly excited to begin this next chapter at Thomas Jefferson University and help build something truly special for our student-athletes," said Allie. "My goal is to create a high-performance, collaborative culture rooted in growth, resilience, and purpose—one that supports their success both on and off the field."

Allie holds both a Bachelor's (May 2022) and Master's degree (August 2023) in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University, with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Conditioning.
