WATERBURY, Conn. (Oct. 17, 2026) – Senior goalkeeper Damian Krapf (Allentown, Pa. / Northwestern Lehigh) recorded six saves as the Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team battled Post University in a competitive road matchup on Saturday afternoon.
The Rams did well to create immediate chaos in front of the home net, with senior Cole McEvoy (Gap, Pa. / Pequea Valley) putting a shot on target just 27 seconds into the contest. Jefferson finished the opening half with a 5-3 advantage in shots while keeping the game scoreless heading into the break.
Senior Parker Smith (Huntsville, Ala. / Montverde Academy) nearly broke through for the Rams in the 61st minute, catching the top of the woodwork. Jefferson continued searching for an equalizer following the game's lone goal in the 65th minute, generating seven shots over the second half.
Sophomore Michael Cancelliere (Philadelphia, Pa. / Holy Ghost Prep) provided some late energy off the bench, resulting in two shot attempts, including one in the 86th minute that found its way to the opposing keeper. Still, the Rams had to do so while contending with a dangerous Post offense. Krapf, who drew his second start of the season, added five saves in the second half alone to give his team a chance to earn CACC points.
Head Coach Jason Rocha and the Rams return to Ravenhill Field to host first-place University of Bridgeport on Monday, Oct. 19. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
