Memphis Secures CACC Player & Rookie of the Week Honors
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - With his recent performances, Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball freshman Jahmare Memphis has now taken home two awards as he was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for competition that ran through February 16-23.

Memphis now has his third and fourth weekly awards in his career, his third for Rookie of the Week and first for Player of the Week, while making it the fifth and sixth award winner for the Rams this year. Memphis averaged 25.0 ppg, shot 60% on the floor and 54% from beyond the arc while helping the Rams go 2-0 on the week. He began with a career-high 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting and 3-4 from three while adding 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals in a 90-80 victory over Goldey-Beacom. Memphis followed it up with 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting, 4-9 from three, alongside 4 rebounds in Jefferson's 86-80 win against Caldwell.
