NORRISTOWN, Pa. (Sept. 24, 2026) – The Thomas Jefferson University women's golf team earned a third-place finish at its home TJU Fall Invitational, battling through difficult weather conditions over two days at Jeffersonville Golf Club. Meanwhile, junior Brooklyn Millard (Aurora, Ohio / Aurora / University of Toledo) featured as the individual medalist once again, shooting +13 over two rounds of golf to win by five strokes.
The Rams completed the 36-hole event with a team score of 675 (+107), finishing just four strokes behind runner-up Bentley. Wind and poor weather contributed to challenging scoring conditions throughout the tournament.
Jefferson's third-place showing came in a field that featured 46 golfers and eight teams in the final standings.
As for Millard, the junior transfer got it done by being the most consistent player in the tournament. She shot +7 for a share of the lead on Wednesday, then delivered a one-stroke improvement on Thursday fueled by a birdie on 16th to create some separation from the field. Other notable Rams finishers included freshman Anna Firko (Wilmington, Del. / Concord), who tied for 10th and improved by six strokes from Round 1 to Round 2, along with sophomore transfer Cami Beuret (Porrentruy, Switzerland Sotogrande International School / Eastern Kentucky University) and rookie Sophia Meyer (Brambleton, Va. Independence), both of whom landed in the top 20 on the leaderboard.
Head Coach Nick Nguyen and the Rams will return to their home course at Jeffersonville beginning on Oct. 13 for the NE10 Women's Golf Championships.
