HOOKSET, N.H. (Sept. 5, 2026) – The Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team scored twice against a tough Southern New Hampshire University team on the road during Saturday afternoon's non-conference game.
It proved to be a game of firsts for the young Rams squad. Freshman defender
Stone Campbell (Windsor, Ontario, Canada / St. Anne's) notched his first-career goal in the 77th-minute, with senior
Miles Hood (Newark, Del. / Caravel Academy) being credited for the assist. Three minutes later, senior
Cole McEvoy (Gap, Pa. / Pequea Valley / Loyola University Maryland) took advantage of a penalty kick opportunity and knocked home his first-career goal in a Rams uniform. They did so in the midst of a physical affair in which more than 30 combined fouls were committed by both teams.
Sophomore goalkeeper
J.R. Sexton (Kitchener, Ontario, Canada / St. Mary's Kitchener) made fives saves while playing the full 90 for Jefferson.
Head Coach
Jason Rocha and the Rams will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 8 when they hit the road to the nation's capital to take on the University of the District of Columbia.
