Bronxville, NY- The Philadelphia University
men's soccer team (7-4, 6-1 CACC) picked up a 2-0 road win against
the Concordia College Clippers (2-7-1, 2-5 CACC) on Saturday
afternoon.
PhilaU got the game-winner at 16:08 in the first half on a goal
from senior Mike Mousaw, who was assisted by
junior forward Ryan
Purnell. The Rams got some breathing room with
the second goal in the 59th minute, this one from
freshman forward Mark
Holman, assisted by Sean
Crossland.
PhilaU freshman goalie Alex
Heston picked up four saves in 78 minutes, while
junior keeper Jack
Purdy picked up 12 minutes in net.
PhilaU continues action on Thursday (10/14) when they host
Wilmington University at 4:00 p.m.
