Wilmington, DE- The Philadelphia University
men's soccer (4-2, 3-1 CACC) team picked up their third Central
Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CAAC) win thanks to a 3-1 victory
at Goldey-Beacom College (0-7, 0-4 CACC) on Tuesday
afternoon.
PhilaU first-year forward Muzalier
Gaussaint scored twice: his first collegiate goal with
the game-winner and the third goal of the game.
The Rams trailed 1-0 at the half, but came back to score- count
them three times n the second stanza to earn the victory.
Sophomore forward Sean
Crossland scored the first PhilaU goal at 71:01, and
Gaussaint followed to make it 2-1 at 74:11.
Gaussaint's final tally came at 89:09 on a cross from freshman
Mark
Holman.
PhilaU freshman goalie Alex
Heston made three stops in the win, while GBC's
Ignacio Farias got in front of six for the day.
The Rams return to action on Saturday (9/25) when they host
Felician at 12:00 p.m. at Ravenhill Field.
