PhilaU Puts Together Shutout over Felician 2-0

Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University men's soccer (5-2, 4-1 CACC) held onto their 2-0 lead over Felician College (1-8,1-4 CACC) Saturday to give them their second shutout of the season.

Senior defender Wojciech Sliwinski began the drive for the Rams with an unassisted goal at 37:51. The game winning goal was netted by freshman midfielder Mark Holman with an assist from junior midfielder Ryan Purnell at 40:30. 

Freshman goalkeeper Alex Heston claimed the win for the Rams making two saves in 72:46 of play. Junior goalkeeper Jack Purdy played for 17:14 and had two saves.

Felician's John Webber defended the goal for 90:00 while having 16 saves.

The Rams return to action Wednesday (9/29) playing at Molloy at 7 p.m.
