PHILADELPHIA - Thomas Jefferson University student-athletes have made the Rams one of the nation's top athletic programs in completing educational courses through Game Plan.
Jefferson ranked second across all divisions in completion rate for the month of October, trailing only Northwestern State University and ranking just ahead of crosstown Drexel University. As of November 19, the Rams have completed 3,434 modules on Game Plan.
The partnership with Game Plan was implemented by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and Jefferson has thoroughly embraced the collaboration. Through this partnership, the CACC utilizes Game Plan eLearning courses to provide online education to their student-athletes on relevant topics around Diversity and Inclusion. Each member institution has access to the RISE Social Justice and Race Relations Curriculum that educates and empowers student-athletes and staff members around eliminating racial discrimination, being a champion for social justice, and improving race relations.
Schools also had access to three courses on voting and community engagement which was key leading up to Election Day this month.
Game Plan is a software platform that helps athletics organizations deliver online education, mentorship and career services to support their athletes through every step of their developmental journey. Within the Game Plan Platform, there are over 150 eLearning courses covering topics such as Diversity and Inclusion, Mental Health, Sports Wagering, Sexual Violence Prevention, and many more that cover topics pertinent to a student-athletes journey.
