Philadelphia – Thomas Jefferson University had five teams finish in the Top 10 in the nation among DII programs for community engagement in the NCAA Team Works and Helper Helper Challenge for the 2019-2020 academic year. Three of the five teams finished ranked 1st which includes Baseball, Men's Soccer and Women's Rowing. Women's Basketball finished 9th and Men's Tennis finished 6th.
Baseball was the top men's team in all of Division II and second across all divisions behind only Louisiana Lafayette Men's Tennis. The baseball team amassed 1,473 hours.
