NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball senior Haley Meinel helped the Rams go 2-0 to begin this season, with her performances helping her earn Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Co-Player of the Week honors as announced by the conference this afternoon. The awards are for competition that ran through November 6-12. For the women's basketball award winners and honor roll, click the respective team name.
 
HALEY MEINEL – CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
This is the first weekly award for Meinel and the Ram's women's basketball team this season, with this being her 11^th weekly award in her career. Meinel scored 44 points this week to help the Rams open their season 2-0, shooting .486% on the field and averaging 22.0 points a game. She began the week with 25 points on the day as she shot 11-of-19 on the field while adding four steals and three rebounds in Jefferson's 67-53 win against Queens College. Meinel then scored 19 points, going 6-of-16 on the court and 6-6 on the free throw line, registering three steals, two rebounds, and two assists.
 
Meinel will join her team this week as the Rams travel on Wednesday, November 15 when they take on Shippensburg University in non-conference action at 6 p.m.
