WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University's
Erik Timko was chosen to the D2CCA Men's Basketball All-East Region First Team on Friday. It is his second career All-Region nod after being named to the second team in 2021-22.
Timko leads the East Region and is 11
th in Division II with 22.5 points per game. He was named the CACC Player of the Year and helped lead the Rams to the CACC title game. The sophomore is one of the top three-point shooters in the nation, ranking tied for fifth in total threes (95) and ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.452). Timko had 19 games with 20-plus points this season, including six with 30-plus.
The athletic communications offices of the NCAA Division II East Region schools and conferences selected the two All-Region teams. The process concludes with All-America selections announced later this month.
