Women's Lacrosse Takes Down Southern New Hampshire
MANCHESTER, N.H. – Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse (2-2) took to the road up to New Hampshire to take on Southern New Hampshire University (2-3) on Monday where the Rams tacked four goals in the first quarter to earn a 12-4 win over the Penmen.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Taylor Hood scored the Rams first two goals on the day. Lindley Gori joined her alongside Meaghan Avanzato to have the game 4-2 in favor of Jefferson
- Three more goals were scored in the second with Avanzato getting her second while Emily Ryder and Iris Gluck got their first on the day. Jefferson led at the break 7-2
- Hood connected on her third goal to begin the second half. After Southern New Hampshire scored their own goal, I. Gluck got a goal on a man-up to have it 9-3. Camdyn Swain got a goal for the Penmen with 6:41 left in the contest. Reagan Rogers got her own shot in the back of the net with to have Jefferson up 10-4
- Hood and Ryder put in the final two goals of the game to give the Rams a 12-4 victory against the Penmen
- Hood put up four goals with an assist. Avanzato, I. Gluck, and Ryder had two apiece while Gori and Rogers netted one. Anya Berlanska picked up four ground balls and Chloe Naylor registered seven draw controls. Kalyn Ammerlaan had a season-high 12 saves at the net
