Women's Lacrosse Eight Game Win Streak Snapped by No.18 Mercy
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse (9-3) headed up to New York to take on No.18 nationally-ranked Mercy University (10-2) in non-conference action. The Rams fell to the Mavericks 12-5.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Mercy put in the first five goals of the game early on. Iris Gluck got Jefferson on the board at the 2:11 mark in the first quarter. She came back and put another shot in net at the 11:37 mark in the second quarter, but the Mavericks went to score four in a row after that
- Reagan Rogers and Taylor Hood had goals in the second to cut the lead down to six, but Kayden Meyer made her shot to have Mercy up 10-4 at the break
- I. Gluck had another goal in the third quarter, but the Rams were not able to get back on the scoreboard after that as Jefferson fell 12-5
