Seniors Allison Kessler (pictured) and Shannon Shippey scored four goals and three goals, respectively, in leading the Philadelphia University women's lacrosse team to a 19-5 win at Dominican College on Sunday afternoon.  Shippey also added a team-high four assists and Kessler finished with two helpers for the Lady Rams, who improved to 8-3 overall with the victory.

Head Coach Jenn Devinney's team took control of the contest from the opening draw, scoring the first nine goals of the contest in holding a 14-1 advantage at the half.  Freshman Michelle O'Hanlon had a major role in the team's early success, tallying four first-half goals while Shippey contributed two goals and two assists in the opening frame.  In the second half, the Lady Rams rode the play of sophomore netminder Kelly Staerk, who collected seven saves in earning her sixth victory of the season.

The Lady Rams will be back in action on the road for their next outing, a non-league battle with Chestnut Hill College on Wednesday, April 23rd.
