Karen Parker-Pollitt was a four-year starter for the women’s basketball team from 1980-84. She tallied 1,278 points during her career and was the school’s all-time leading scorer when she graduated.

With Parker-Pollitt on the court, the Rams went 58-42 over four seasons, a .580 winning percentage. Philadelphia Textile took third place at the 1982 AIAW Regional Tournament.

Parker-Pollitt was the school’s first female All-America candidate her junior and senior seasons. She was named to the All-Philadelphia Area Team twice. Parker-Pollitt also held the program record for most field goals made at the end of her playing career.
