Melissa DerPilbosian was one of the top two-sport athletes in the history of the University, earning women’s lacrosse All-America honors in 1997 and 1998. She concluded her stellar Lady Rams’ lacrosse career as the program’s all-time leading scorer, compiling 266 points while her 199 career goals also mark a school record. Her 68 goals as a freshman in 1995 is the second-best single-season total in school history while her 30 assists in 1998 as a senior also ranks second in school history. Not to be outdone, the Cherry Hill East (N.J.) High product also put together a solid career on the soccer field as well for the Lady Rams, earning New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) All-Conference honors as a junior and senior. She capped her soccer career as one of the top defenders in school history, tallying five career goals and four career assists.
