William “Billy” Harris served as Director of Sports Information at Philadelphia “Textile” University from 1976-86. He developed the first pocket brochure for men’s and women’s basketball. Harris was a member of the Philadelphia Soccer Seven Tournament. The “Billy Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund” was established in his memory, which helps support many student workers in athletics.
