Pappas was a three-time Philadelphia Soccer Seven All-Star in goal for the Rams from 1992 through 1994, including being named the Soccer Seven Player of the Year as a senior in 1994. He remains the program’s all-time leader in career victories with 33 and saves with 522 while his 20 career shutouts ranks second all-time. Pappas ranks fifth for shutouts in a season with seven.

Following his graduation from the University, Pappas embarked on a highly-successful professional career with the hometown Philadelphia Kixx where he has earned Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) All-League honors six times. In addition, he has also been a two-time MISL Goalkeeper of the Year for the Kixx.
