Lorraine (Lasorsa) Ford was a PAIAW All-Conference selection in field hockey her senior season and led the Rams in goals in 1984. She was first on the squad in assists and points in 1985.

Ford was co-MVP of the 1985 team and received the Athletic Directors Award as the Most Outstanding Female Athlete. She was also a co-captain in lacrosse.

A versatile athlete, Ford managed to compete in four intercollegiate sports for the Rams (field hockey, lacrosse, basketball, and softball) in just two years after transferring from Penn State University.

Ford was a member of the 1985 lacrosse squad that posted the first winning record in program history (8-4), including a victory over Division I Villanova.

Ford later served as an assistant coach for the Rams’ field hockey team.
